Even a Well-Trained Pet Can Have an Accident

Our pets are an important part of our family, but they can have accidents which can contribute to dirty, dingy tile and grout.

Grout is porous and when left unsealed can allow for liquids to be easily absorbed. By sealing your grout with the proper type of sealant, this will prevent liquids from being absorbed and will prevent staining.

While porcelain and ceramic tile is more durable, your grout is still vulnerable to damage and staining if not sealed. This is true for your natural stone floors.

Marble, travertine and even granite are porous stones that can easily etch and stain if not properly maintained. If your pet does have an accident, spills must be cleaned up immediately using a pH-neutral, soap-free cleaner that is safe for natural stone surfaces. Natural stone surfaces should be regularly sealed to maintain their beautiful appearance and prevent unnecessary wear and tear.
